Romancing Ideas for Final Website
One of my favorite activities is reading romance novels. I especially love serial romance novels, e.g. the harlequin series. Instead of watching a half hour sit-com or a two hour television movie, I prefer to enjoy the low key, quick read of a harlequin romance. My family and friends always tease me about this, but that doesn't stop me. Anyway, with the sales that Harlequin has each year, I know that I can't be alone in this habit!! The only problem now is what to do with the novels after I'm finished reading. (You wouldn' t believe how quickly they pile up!) Anyway, I'm thinking about putting this habit to good use, but how do I turn this habit into a fruitful topic for my final website project? While, I think about it, I will read a few pages of my newest book!

If you don't do a sports theme, you could always take your novels and make "art" out of them. I cannot remember the precise details, but there is an art project where certain books from a library (public or personal, I can't recall) are photographed together on the shelf. They are arranged in a meaningful way sort of a a collage or a poem of the titles displayed together. Sorry, I cannot remember more, does anyone know what I am talking about? It was in an ALA newsletter email.
Hey Nichole, I've never read any Harlequin Romance novels, but back in the day I was a Danielle Steel fan. Have you ever read any of her stuff? I wonder if her novels are similar to the Harlequin Romances? I think it would be fun if you used this interest as part or all of your topic for the final project.
Hey! I have never read a romance novel but always wondered how they are :) Therefore, your website would definitely be interesting to see for me.
